Colbeh Kitchen

Opened in 2012, Colbeh Kitchen is a Persian restaurant located near East Court Square in Decatur, Georgia; a dining destination, attracting foodies from all across metro Atlanta to more than 80 mostly independent restaurants, cafés and pubs. Colbeh brought the food of the Iranian homeland to Decatur, and the menu presents a broad sweep of Persian cooking, from vegetarian dishes to lamb and seafood, beef and poultry. In Farsi, “colbeh” means “cabin,” alluding to the restaurant’s home-style cooking and comfortable setting.

We had functional and cultural goals when we began the project as their creative team. We first researched then soon developed a website that needed to feel as unique as the restaurant itself. We infused the brand’s culture into every element of Colbeh’s website. The brand identity was already in place when we stepped in to design their website and develop their overall advertising. We continued the look-and-feel throughout the menu design and promotional materials.
